I'm not Alone

Posted on 23 April, 2015 at 19:50 Comments comments (82)

Goodmorning to all my viewers,

This weeks Blog entry is called "I'm Not Alone". I love this poem, so I hope you enjoy.

I'm Not Alone

This road has become dark,

my friends have departed.

Sorrow has entered my heart.

Another path they have charted.

For the season has pass,

there's a chill in the air.

Am I alone?

Is there someone there?

A storm is approaching,

should I seek shelter?

Or do I stay on this course?

Where's my protector?

The sun peeked through the clouds,

and what did I see?

A silhouette of a person,

walking alongside of me.

"Hello my child", said the voice.

that was all too familiar

"You are never alone"

extended the hand of the figure.

The role of "MAMA"

Good morning viewers, it's Mother's Day!

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's entry "Mama's Prayer", celebrating all the mother's on this day. In "Mama's Prayer" the writer is sharing the inner conflict involved in the role of Mom. The title Mama is the hardest role a woman can take on. As we are placed in this role, sometimes we lose sight of the fact that "Mama" is human first, therefore she has needs, wants, gets tired and also feels pain. When we look at the three elements of SELF; the human parts which is the Mind and Body will seek to protect its young. However the Soul, which involves spiritual SELF, acknowledges a higher power other then ourselves, that governs everything. A Mama's love is undeniable, and as much as we want to keep our young safe from the storms of life. They will grow up to embrace their own journey with their higher power. As our creator has given us this gift, we will eventually have to present it back.

As we go about our daily routine for this week. Lets reflect upon ways that we can maintain our balance of SELF and continue to embrace the role of Mama.

Abate the Chatter

Good morning my viewers. I hope you enjoyed yesterday's entry "The Journey".

In "The Journey", the writer is sharing that none of us are exempt from the storms of life. However along with the storms, we are also presented with outside chatter. Whether intentional or unintentional, outside chatter has the potential of causing self doubt not only in oneself but in our creator. This week let's reflect upon how we allowed outside chatter to affect the balance of SELF.

How can this chatter be abated?

Good morning to all my viewers,

I would like to first thank everyone for your responses and emails. The support received was awesome and motivating.

My purpose for posting the poem "WORDS OF AFFIRMATION" is the true inspiration and meaning of Dear Me I Love You. The writer was sharing words of affirmation that we have all declared to someone else at some part of our journey. However, have you ever declared those words to your self? The person speaking is seeking to obtain an intimate relationship with the reflection, by asking to be taken care of and loved unconditionally. Words can only be spoken however confirmation requires actions.

What actions did you show today to affirm your love for self?

Good morning,

Thank you for visiting my BLOG today. I posted a poem "Words of Affirmation". Pleae read and reflect upon the message you believe the writer is trying to share.

During her words of solemn declaration,

She whispered into the glaring eyes,

I love you today and always

Until the day I die.

But to love me is to accept me,

with all my flaws, you see.

I need your full attentiveness,

regarding all my wants and needs.

To love me, you must want to get to know me.

Not many others do.

Please listen and not be judgmental,

I need that promise from you.

I need you to take care of me,

Til death do us part.

Can you love me forever?

Can I trust you with my heart?

There was a slight hesitation, then silence

inducing emotions of fear she just knew,

With a deep exhale, the voice responded,

in two simple words, "I do".

Staring into the pair of tearful eyes,

seeking to confirm the connection.

For the person that was responding,

was her reflection.

Where is My Darkness

Good afternoon to all my viewers. Today's post is called "Where Is My Darkness". I hope you enjoy.

Where Is My Darkness

Sitting in this empty space.

Why darkness have you surrounded me?

My body is cold, skin dampen.

My darken soul is in need.

This specter is one of loneliness

and fear has joined its team.

Where is the gentle kiss from the sun light?

For it once shone down on me.

A voice spoke out, I am here with you,

But you've become content yet stagnated.

In everything give me the praise,

because you are uniquely created.

For I designed both day and night.

So spirit of fear be rebuked.

I need you to be fruitful in all you do.

Therefore a seed I planted in you.

Though sunlight is needed for maintenance.

In faith you should always know.

Seeking the comfort from darkness is critical

For my seed to begin its growth.

Mama's Prayer

Posted on 23 April, 2015 at 19:35 Comments comments (27)

Goodmorning my viewers,

This week's entry is called "Mama's Prayer" dedicated to all the mother's for Mother's Day. I hope you enjoy.

Heavenly Father, this is your child,

upon bended knees.

I wanted to say, Thank You,

for the gift you gave to me.

We are not born a mother, but human first,

and subject to mistakes.

Mothers are not always right,

however our soul still aches.

The instinct is to protect our young,

although you have sovereignty.

Sometimes we lose sight of that,

its only for your grace and mercy.

We can't control what they do,

so my only prayer to thee.

Keep your hedges of salvation surrounding them,

as they venture upon their journey.

A Mama's love is unconditional,

watching her child with fear to subdue.

Lord, with all humbleness, I present my gift.

For letting go, is the hardest thing a Mama can do.
